Role – Landscape Architect/LVIA Specialist
Location – Dublin
Salary – £DOE
Our client, a well-established landscape consultancy based in Dublin is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic LVIA Specialist to join their team. This role involves working on a variety of projects, from renewable energy and infrastructure to commercial developments, helping to assess and manage landscape and visual impacts.
It´s not a requirement to be based in Dublin, applicants can live in the UK and work from one of their UK based offices. Remote work is also a possibility for the right person.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
* Conducting Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments for diverse projects
* Visiting sites to collect data and photographs to support assessments
* Creating maps, photomontages, and 3D visualizations using GIS, CAD, and related software
* Preparing clear and engaging reports and presentations
* Participating in community engagement and occasionally presenting at public meetings
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILLS
* A degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Planning, Geography, or a related discipline
* Experience with LVIA processes and relevant software tools
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* The ability to work well within a team as well as independently manage tasks
* A good understanding of current guidelines and best practices for LVIA
