M&E Contracts Manager (Electrical Bias) - Building Services
Location: London Head Office / Site-Based (UK)

An established and highly regarded building services contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Contracts Manager (Electrical Bias) to lead and deliver a portfolio of mechanical and electrical installation projects. With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, this business delivers projects ranging from small works to multi-million-pound schemes across the UK.
The M&E Contracts Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of M&E installation projects (up to £3m annually), ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. You'll manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage allocated M&E installation projects from tender to completion.
Prepare costings, contract documentation, and valuations.
Lead pre-construction planning, sequencing, and resource allocation.
Oversee sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, RAMS, and industry regulations.
Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and client meetings.
Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance.
Prepare progress reports and project documentation.Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years' experience in M&E project or contracts management.
Background with a recognised M&E contractor, delivering projects up to £1m+.
HNC or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
Strong commercial acumen with cost management and estimating experience.
Excellent technical knowledge of M&E building services.
IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) desirable.
Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive safe systems of work.Benefits:
