Our client is a leading name in the construction sector, delivering innovative and sustainable M&E solutions across a wide range of projects. They pride themselves on their collaborative approach, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence.
They are now looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility with regular visits to their head office in North Wales
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the commercial aspects of M&E projects from procurement through to final account
Prepare and oversee budgets, cost plans, valuations, and forecasts
Negotiate and manage subcontractor contracts, accounts, and payments
Assess variations, claims, and change control processes
Provide detailed commercial reporting to senior management
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within M&E (mechanical & electrical)
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency with relevant software (e.g. Excel, estimating tools)
