Machine Builder
Location: Bolton
Salary: From £31,000 per annum (based on £14.00 per hour) + overtime + annual bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
A growing engineering business in Bolton is looking for a Machine Builder to join their expanding production team. The company designs and manufactures high-quality machinery for the drinks industry, with all systems built and tested in-house.
This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and pride in producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components to specification
*
Prepare subassemblies, materials, and tools required for each project
*
Carry out quality control checks throughout the build process
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop
*
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company standards
Requirements:
*
Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship
*
Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
*
Able to commute or relocate to Bolton
Desirable:
*
Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeships
*
Experience in machine or equipment build assembly
*
Driving licence
