Machine Operative - Full Time
Ilminster, Somerset | Up to £14.11 per hour | Full-Time | Alternating Weekly Shifts | Paid Fortnightly
Introduction

This is a hands-on role operating packing line machinery while supporting team coordination and continuous improvement across production shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and manage packing line machinery efficiently and safely.
Meet production targets while maintaining quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Lead product changeovers and support team coordination.
Train and support new and existing team members.
Report performance issues to the Team Leader.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across your shift.
Skills and Experience Required:
Previous experience working with machinery in a production environment.
Strong communication and numeracy skills.
Proactive and team-focused attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Shift Pattern (Alternating Weekly):
Shift A:
Week 1: Sunday-Tuesday (3 days) | 6:30am - 6:30pm.
Week 2: Sunday-Wednesday (4 days) | 6:30am - 6:30pm.
Shift B:
Week 1: Wednesday-Saturday (4 days) | 6:30am - 6:30pm.
Week 2: Thursday-Saturday (3 days) | 6:30am - 6:30pm.
