Shift: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30 | Friday 07:30-12:30
Pay Rate: £12.32 per hour

A specialist casting manufacturer based in Leicester. They have been operating for over 50 years and serve a broad range of industries globally.
The Role:
We're looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Machine Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team, working in a foundry environment.
You'll play a key role in supporting production through the safe operation of foundry and cut-off equipment in the manufacture of precision castings.
This is a hands-on, physical position where quality, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Foundry Operations
Weigh and record charge materials accurately
Safely load furnaces using approved handling equipment
Inspect furnace linings and crucibles before charging
Pre-heat moulds prior to pouring
Monitor furnace temperatures within specified limitsCut-Off Operations
Prepare parts, securing them in fixtures
Identify correct cutting points and safely operate saws or cut-off wheels
Remove parts from trees and segregate scrap for re-melt
Maintain safe working practices with correct guarding and secure gripAbout You:
Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment desirable (training provided)
Ability to follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures
Comfortable working with heat, noise, and dust in a physical role
Reliable, safety-focused, and a strong team player
