Now Hiring: Machine Operatives
📅 Target Start Date: As soon as possible
📍 Location: Blunham
⏳ Contract Length: 3-Month Rolling Contract - Potential to Lead to a Permanent Position
💼 Working Hours: 2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off shift pattern (06:00-18:00 x 2 weeks and 18:00-06:00 x 2 weeks)
💸 Hourly Rate: £15.46/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a Machine Operative to join our team and play a key role in the success of our Packaging Division, which produces corrugated packaging solutions for customers in the FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Electronics, and Industrial sectors.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
Operate machinery safely and efficiently
Minimise downtime and maximise productivity
Meet performance and quality targets
Carry out maintenance and cleaning per the planned schedule
Support continuous improvement initiatives as requiredHealth & Safety is our top priority. You'll be responsible for:
Working within Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and company procedures
Ensuring the safety of yourself and your team
Reporting unsafe acts or incidents to management immediately🎓 Minimum Requirements:
Strong focus on health and safety
Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Effective verbal and written communication
A reliable team player
Quality focused and detail-oriented
Willingness to work in a multi-skilled environment
Open-minded and adaptable to changePreferred Requirements:
Previous experience in a production or machine-operating environment
Forklift Truck (FLT) experience
