Job Description
Our clients are a well-established manufacturer specializing in foam conversion, known for our commitment to quality, engineering precision, and exceptional customer service. Looking to add a Machine operator/ assembler to their team.
Machine operator/ Assembler responsibilities:
* Skilled in manual assembly and component finishing
* Proficient in operating bandsaws for precision cutting
* Experienced in using glue guns and heat guns for bonding and shaping
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
* Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (preferred)
Skills & experience required:
* A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and a strong focus on quality
* Versatile experience with machinery setup and operation
* Background in woodworking or similar industries (advantageous)
* Familiarity with using PCs for job tracking and management
* A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and practical problem-solving skills
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques
