Machine Operator – Engineering / Metalwork
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Contract Type: Permanent
Rotating Shifts: Day shifts – 8am–5pm Mon–Thurs, 8am–1pm Friday
Starting Pay Rate: £12.21 - £12.50 per hour (depending on expereince)
Overtime: Available
Immediate Start: Available
We’re currently looking for enthusiastic machine operators to join our client based in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a great opportunity for someone with an engineering or machining background, or someone keen to train on specialist machinery such as laser cutters, press brake machines, or robotic welding systems. Permanent position with full training provided.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*
Operating or learning to operate laser machines, press brake machines, or robotic welding systems
*
Working to detailed specifications and tolerances
*
Handling and processing sheet metal of varying thickness (typically 1mm–10mm)
*
Supporting the wider production team and contributing to daily output
*
Using hand tools and power tools where required
What You’ll Need:
*
A genuine interest in engineering and metalwork
*
Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is ideal
*
Willingness to learn and take on new skills
*
A good eye for detail and quality
*
Understanding of health and safety practices
*
A flexible, team-oriented attitude
