Job Description

Machine Operator

We are recruiting for a skilled Machine Operator to work for our client who are located in South Kirkby, West Yorkshire.

Welder Fabricator:

  * Read and follow engineering 2d drawings

  * Operate different machines around the workshop including : pressbrake, guillotine, plasma cutter, beam saw to prepare metal components.

  * Set up and adjust machines

  * Load and unload materials to machines

  * Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the quality standards

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  * Excellent communication skills

  * Machine operator experience of 2 years minimum

  * Previously experience working on the above machines

THE HOURS:

You will be required to 40 hours a week

2 shifts to choose from:

Days: 6am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday

Afters: 2pm–12:30am, Monday to Thursday. This working pattern includes a 20% shift allowance.

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of up to £17.38 depending on experience.
