About The Job:
As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in printing labels to specification, ensuring consistent quality throughout the production process. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll be part of a dedicated team focused on excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
Following all standard safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Setting up and adjusting label presses for job runs to meet specifications
Monitoring product quality and computerised equipment during job runs
Printing jobs while maintaining optimum production rates and quality standards
Recording job status, materials, and labour information using production software
Ensuring cleanliness of the press and work station through good housekeeping practisesShifts:
6am - 2pm
2pm - 10pm
10pm - 6amRequirements:
A safety-first attitude, ensuring compliance with all workplace and product safety standards
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changes
Basic machine operator skills and experience
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
A positive attitude with a keen eye for quality
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
