Machine Operator
Location: Littleport, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Week 1: Monday to Friday 06:00 -14:00 Week 2: Monday-Thursday 14:00-00:00
Hourly Rate / Salary: £12.31 per hour + holiday pay with salary increases based on skill level
Duration: Temporary to Permanent.
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Machine Operative to join a well-established company based in Littleport. Previous experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate. We’re looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is comfortable working with tools and confident in a hands-on, physical role. If you’re keen to learn and ready to grow your skills within a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you!
If successful on pre-screening, you may be asked to work on a paid 2 hour trial period.

* Accurately measuring powders
* Setting and operating machinery
* Quality checking over finish products
* Assembling items using hand and power tools
* Keeping factory clean and tidy
* Working towards company target
What we are looking for:
* Positive attitude towards work and colleagues
* Be able to work independently or within small teams.
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* Previous experience working with hand and power tools.
* Previous experience operating machinery
* To be able to measure out products accurately
* Happy with heavy lifting
