Position Details:
Contract Type: Temp To Perm
Hourly Rate: From £13
Working Pattern: Full Time
Rotating Shifts:
- 6am - 2pm
- 2pm - 10pm
- 10pm - 6am
Your Role:
As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our production process, printing labels to specification while ensuring consistent quality. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and be part of a team that values continuous improvement and a strong focus on health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow all standard safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Set up and adjust the label press for job runs, adhering to specifications.
Monitor product and computerised equipment for quality during job runs.
Check precision of detail against specifications and take corrective action when necessary.
Print jobs while maintaining optimum production rates, colour density, registration, and quality standards in line with company and customer guidelines.
Interface with production software to accurately record job status, material usage, and labour information.
Comply with all company procedures, safety, and quality guidelines.
Ensure cleanliness of the press, work station, and immediate area by practising good housekeeping.
