Machine Operator
Contek are working with a client who is based in Dorset, near Dorchester that are looking for a Machine Operator to join their team. This position is quite a niche skill within Engineering and with that being said we are open to candidates from a variety of skills within Engineering.
We are ideally looking for a Machine Operator who is experienced working within a manufacturing facility with history working on CNC's or similar machinery such as Injection Moulding, Extrusion, Presses and so on.
Responsibilities:
* Help to run and operate a 4 line manufacturing process within an Engineering company.
* General maintenance within the lines during changeovers or breaks in production.
* Help across the site including within the warehouse or packing where needed.
* Work with a variety of materials from plastics, metal and graphite.
Desired:
* Ability to read drawings.
* Come equipped with a good understanding of basic engineering principles.
* Previous experience as a Machine Operator, working on machines such as CNC's, Presses, Extrusion Lines, Injection Moulding machinery etc.
Hours: (1 week rotating shift - AM/PM)
Week 1:
06:00 - 14:00
Week 2:
13:00 - 21:00
