The company has been supplying specialist precision engineered products to high tech industries for many years from the modern facility in Tewkesbury, which is commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester, Evesham and surrounding areas.

They are now looking to employ an additional Machine Operator to join the small finishing department to manage with the increasing demand as the company continues to grow.
About the job - Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator
Working Hours: day shift, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday, lunch time finish on Fridays
Pay: £14.25 - £15.25 per hour + very good benefits package (let us know your pay requirements and we can do our best).
Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
Contract type: Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities for Machine Operator
Operating laser cutting machinery
Operating CNC press machinery
Operating tool sharpening machinery
Carrying out visual quality checks on small, metal products (full training will be provided)
Prepare and pack products ready for dispatch
Highlight quality issues or inconsistencies to the team leader
Carry out any associated duties as needed
Skills & Experience for Machine Operator
You’ll ideally have some experience of working in a manufacturing or engineering environment or similar although we can consider applications from people with different experience who are capable of picking up the skills needed
You'll need to be happy to operate machinery to produce high quality metal parts
You will have a safe and courteous approach to work
You’ll be willing to learn and committed to doing a great job
