Production/Machine Operators
Location: Flitwick, Bedfordshire
About the Role:
Proactive Recruitment is currently hiring reliable and hardworking Production Operators for a leading manufacturing facility based in Flitwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term, stable work with the potential for a permanent position.
Working Hours: Days and Nightshifts available
Day Shifts - 08:00- 20:00 (rotating/shifts alternate weekly)
Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
Week 2 - Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday
Rate: £14.66-£16.00 per hour
Nightshift: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
12-hour shifts, 4 nights per week
Rate: £15.18-£16.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Operate production machinery in a safe and efficient manner
Conduct routine quality checks on products
Pack and prepare products for dispatch according to specifications
Maintain cleanliness and organisation on the production floor
Follow all company health & safety policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleaguesCandidate Requirements:
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods
Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
