Job Description
Machine Operator
TM Scotland is very excited to be working on behalf of a brand-new client based in Bellshill who are looking to recruit two Machine Operators to add to the team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Our client is a privately owned dairy, deli and services business founded in 1896. We employ more than 32,000 people in 18 sites throughout Europe, and our shared purpose is simple – we are focused on adding taste to life.
Hours: 7 am–7 pm (2 days), 7 pm–7 am (2 nights), followed by 4 days off (rolling rota)
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor production machinery in a safe and efficient manner
* Carry out quality checks and record results accurately
* Assist in the setup and changeovers of production lines
* Follow site health & safety standards and procedures at all times
* Work closely with your shift team to meet daily production targets
* Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the work area
* Support other areas of production as required
What we require for you to be considered:
* We're looking for reliable, proactive team players with:
* A keen attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work on a rotating shift pattern, including nights
* A good level of physical fitness (factory/machine environment)
* Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing setting is desirable but not essential
