Machine Operative
Rotherham
£29,348 per year
Full-time | Permanent | 3-shift rotation
We’re hiring Machine Operatives to join a well-established and fast-paced manufacturing business in Rotherham.
This is a hands-on production role, ideal for someone with experience operating machinery in a high-speed environment. You’ll be running machines, performing quality checks, and packing finished products — so attention to detail is key.
What you'll be doing:
* Running production machinery safely and efficiently
* Quality checking products to ensure they meet required standards
* Packing and preparing products for dispatch
* Monitoring production output and reporting any issues
* Working as part of a team to maintain high productivity and cleanliness on the shop floor
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
* Previous experience operating machinery (essential)
* A good eye for detail and strong focus on quality
* Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions
* Comfortable working in a non-smoking site (no smoking permitted during shifts)
Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly):
* 06:00 – 14:00
* 14:00 – 22:00
* 22:00 – 06:00
Salary & Benefits:
* £29,348 per year
* Sign-on bonuses at 3 and 6 months (based on attendance)
* Monthly or annual productivity bonus after 6 months
* Private healthcare for you, your partner, and children up to age 24 (after 6 months)
* Death in service – 4x your salary
* Company pension – 5% employer contribution, rising to 10% after 2 years
* Subsidised 24-hour canteen – hot food and snacks available at all times
