Hours: 38 hours per week, optional weekend work as overtime
Location: Rugby
I’m currently representing a leading Engineering and Manufacturing company based in Rugby and they’re looking for a Machine Operator to join them on a permanent basis due to growth in the business.

Job Description
Carry out regular maintenance on machines, including cleaning and small fixes
Check completed items to confirm they meet quality and safety rules
Work well with others to help reach daily and weekly production targets
Keep your work area tidy, safe, and well-organised at all times
Quickly switch machines between jobs to keep delays as short as possible
Stick to company guidelines to help maintain high production standards
Look for ways to cut down on waste and make better use of materials

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Hands-on experience running and setting up different types of machines
Confident understanding and following of technical plans and written job steps
Comfortable with numbers and measuring, and familiar with tools used to check sizes and fit
Able to get on with tasks alone or alongside others when needed
A positive attitude, and a strong focus in a busy work environment
Ability to work within a team and be reliable
Must have experience working as a press brake setter operator or CNC Machine operator
