Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am - 4pm
Role Summary:
You will be responsible for setting up, operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure the efficient manufacture of products. You will play a key role in maintaining quality, consistency and safety standards while supporting the smooth running of the production process.
Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
Operate production machinery to ensure smooth production flow.
Ensure the site is audit ready at all times.
Ensure thorough cleaning of machinery to avoid contamination.
Follow production schedules and meet targets for output and efficiency.
Pack finished product in accordance with customer specification.
Adhere to safety guidelines including correct handling of materials and use of protective equipment.
Report any incidents or issues immediately.
Carry out machine start-up, changeover and shutdown procedures.
Conduct regular quality checks on finished products.
Identify defects and non-conformance's.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
Maintain safety protocols and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Accurately complete production paperwork and records.Experience and skills required for this position:
Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a FMCG environment.
Ability to operate production equipment.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexible and adaptable to different tasks as required.Next steps:
