Job Description
Machine Operator I Mansfield I Temporary to Permanent I Immediate start
A well-established concrete manufacturing company are looking to train up an individual on their machinery which includes; plant machines, press machines and a brick packing machine.
The shifts for this role will be rotating weekly on days and nights. For both shifts the hours are 6-6:15 Monday – Thursday.
Please note: This is a 49 hour week. The first 40 hours are paid at flat rate and the remaining will be paid at time and a half.
Pay on days
£12.35 First 40 hours
£18.50 Over 40 hours
Pay on nights
£14.90 First 40 hours
£22.35 Over 40 hours

The role will involve:
• Machine operating and machine minding
• Working on plant machines
• Using a press machine to press concrete bricks
• Using a machine to pack concrete
• Updating computer systems with information
• General labouring
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
• Computer literate
• Be keen to train up within a company
