Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Shift : 4on, 4off (Days & Nights - 12-hour shifts)

Our prestigious client, a leading manufacturer in their field, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator / Setter to join their team. With a commitment to operational excellence and producing high-quality products, they are looking for a professional who can ensure the optimal functioning of their manufacturing processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to meet production plans and quality standards
Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment
Work with maintenance and quality control teams to reduce breakdowns and defects
Carry out changeovers
Product washouts
Material handling
Monitor quality and report any issues or defects
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Basic mechanical awareness of factory automation principles
IT skills in machine data and control systems
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Experience as a machine operator or in manufacturing industry preferred
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials within agreed risk assessment limits
