Dunkeswell, Honiton Area, Devon (EX14) | Competitive Salary + Overtime | 6am - 4pm | 38 hours a week | Monday to Friday | Permanent
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a skilled Machine Setter to join a production team in Dunkeswell. The role involves ensuring machinery is correctly set up, adjusted, and maintained to produce high-quality products, supporting continuous production and assisting engineering teams where necessary.
Key Duties:
Set up and adjust production machinery to ensure product quality and specification compliance.
Complete machine changeovers efficiently and accurately, particularly for size changes.
Support engineering teams in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues.
Operate machinery or assist in production when not performing technical tasks.
Respond to breakdowns, apply mechanical knowledge, and escalate issues appropriately.
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the production area.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a production or machine-setting environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with solid problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read and follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures.
Flexible, proactive approach and a willingness to learn and develop.
Reliable team player with a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
What We Offer:
