Job Description
Role: Machine Setter - Night shift
Hours:- Monday - Thursday 22:00pm to 06:15am & Friday 18:00 to midnight
Rate: £15.90p/h +holidays
Duration: 6months – ongoing
Based: Coleshill, Birmingham, B46
To maintain high integrity for Health & Safety, Environment and Quality to support the business in maintaining and improving upon the standards expected
Achieve the efficient running of the Corrugation cell by setting tooling onto machinery and modifying conditions to ensure product quality is within specification
To work in accordance with the company quality manual
Monitor the quality of conduit produced with reference to drawings, specifications, systems and agreed checking frequency resolving any issues that may occur
Take an active role in improving department’s efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure high standard of housekeeping at all times.
Ensure equipment you are operating is in its optimum condition by reporting and resolving any faults
Suggest to management any improvements that will reduce costs and improve quality
Other duties may have to be undertaken which will be determined by the Company.
