Machine Setter Operator - Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Southend
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Wed 6:30am-4:30pm, Thu 6:30am-4:00pm (4-day week!)
Are you an experienced Machine Setter Operator looking for your next challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturer producing high-quality products used worldwide across education, healthcare, leisure, and more.
What you will be doing:
Setting and operating Power Presses (single action & progression tooling)
Ensuring smooth changeover of press tools and efficient running of presses
Completing first-off checks and quality paperwork
Maintaining compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental & COSHH requirements
Working to company procedures and process standards
Identifying improvements to drive efficiency and quality
What we are looking for:
Hands-on experience operating Power Presses and setting press tools (not CNC)
Knowledge of single action & progression tooling
Familiarity with quality standards for pressed parts
Strong communication skills at all levels
