Job Description
We’re hiring for a Machine Shop Foreman to join a precision engineering business in Stockport.
In this role you will be helping lead the day-to-day operations of their machining department that services some of the most highly regulated industries in the world.
What’s on offer?
* £59,000 per year
* Monday to Friday day shifts (flexible hours)

What will you be doing as a Machine Shop Foreman?
* Coordinating workflow and schedules across multiple CNC machines and operators
* Overseeing production progress to ensure deadlines, specifications, and quality standards are met
* Liaising between production, planning, and engineering teams to maintain alignment
* Supporting CNC operators with technical queries and skill development
* Driving process improvements and troubleshooting tooling or fixturing issues
* Ensuring health and safety compliance across the machine shop
* Collaborating with the quality team to resolve non-conformances and maintain standards
What do you need?
* Experience leading or supervising within a CNC machining environment
* Strong knowledge of CNC milling and turning operations, tooling, and setup
* Comfortable reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
