Position: Machine Shop Manager
Location: Waterlooville
Salary: £55,000 per annum, based on a 45-hour working week.
Machine Shop Manager required for a well-established manufacturer based in Waterlooville. The successful Production Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of manual & CNC machinists.
Machine Shop Manager Job Overview
Allocating jobs in the workshop to the team of manual & CNC machinists
Overseeing quality controls of parts
Providing the machinists with technical advice and support with programming
Assisting with project management, estimating and the purchasing of materials
Producing progress reports on jobs
Driving continuous improvement initiatives
Machine Shop Manager Job Requirements
Proven background within production management
Good understanding / experience with CNC Programming, setting & operating
Experience with CAD/ CAM software is desirable
Understanding of quality assurance processes
Good planning & scheduling skills
Machine Shop Manager Salary & Benefits
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Working hours Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00. 45 hour working week.
