Job Description

Thrive Personnel Ltd are recruiting for a Machine Shop Foreman, on behalf of a leading woodwork manufacturer based in Leeds.

Responsibilities:

Production & Workflow Management: Interpret instructions, plan product components, assist with stock orders, allocate daily jobs, and monitor performance and quality.

Technical Skills: Expertly operate CNC, Beam Saw, Edgebander, Moulder, Spindle, and related equipment. Accurately interpret CAD drawings and cut sheets.

Team Leadership: Support the Production Director, manage a small team to achieve high standards, and resolve operational issues.

Health & Safety: Maintain COSHH documentation, ensure PPE compliance, and promptly report concerns.

Requirements:

Computer literate

Full UK driving license

Ability to adopt company's management style

Proficiency with woodworking machinery

CAD drawing interpretation skills

Contract Details: 39 hours per week (additional hours as needed).
