Machinist – Stanmore
Location: Stanmore
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 17:00pm
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Start: Immediate
Contract: Temporary (potential temp-to-perm for the right candidate)
Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Machinist to join a reputable and well-established company based in Stanmore on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machinist experience, particularly with press machines operated by foot pedal, or from a printing or similar mechanical environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, practical, and confident working in a fast-paced production setting.
What you’ll be doing:
Operating a press machine using a foot pedal
Ensuring all work meets quality and production standards
Conducting visual inspections and quality checks
Labelling, packaging, and manual handling of products
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Assisting with general production and warehouse duties as needed
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience as a machinist is essential
Experience with press machines or within the printing industry
High attention to detail and strong safety awareness
A proactive team player with a strong work ethic
Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
