Are you hands-on, detail-driven, and confident working with machinery? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business supplying high-quality fabrics and technical solutions to the marine and leisure industries. This is a full time position based in Fareham.
You’ll be operating a state-of-the-art multi-axis cutting machine, working with software such as Nest and Rhino, and playing a vital role in turning customer designs into reality. Full training will be given on the machinery, so if you’ve worked with CNC machines or other precision cutting equipment before, this could be a great next step.
What you’ll be doing:
Running and maintaining a large-scale multi-axis cutting machine
Preparing and checking customer design files using Nest and Rhino
Carrying out fabric quality checks before and after cutting
Ensuring materials are cut accurately to customer specifications
Working with colleagues across production and logistics to meet deadlines
Occasionally speaking with customers to clarify designs or answer queriesWhat we’re looking for:
Experience with CNC, cutting, or machining equipment (training provided on specialist kit)
Confidence with design/CAM software, ideally Nest or Rhino
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills – able to work with both colleagues and customers
