Location: South Elmsall
Salary: £27,570.56 per annum
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Assistant to support day-to-day operations at our busy South Elmsall Distribution Centre. Working alongside the Distribution Maintenance Technician (DMT), you’ll help deliver planned and reactive maintenance tasks that keep the site safe, efficient, and fully operational.
What You'll Be Doing
* Support the DMT with routine maintenance, repairs, and PPM tasks.
* Complete minor maintenance jobs independently and efficiently.
* Respond to reactive maintenance callouts, assess faults, and carry out repairs.
* Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they’re serviceable and ready for use.
* Accurately complete all maintenance records and documentation.
* Travel to other sites within the cluster when required.
* Work in line with all Health & Safety standards and site procedures.
* Assist wider facilities and maintenance teams when needed.
* Represent the business professionally and build positive working relationships with our clients colleagues.
What We’re Looking For
* A hands-on approach with basic maintenance and repair experience
* Good organisation and time management skills
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
* A strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
* Willingness to travel locally and attend training
