Maintenance Electrician – Essex & Kent (Minimal London Work)

Essex & Kent

£45,000 - £50,000 Basic + Call Out (1 in 13) + Overtime + Van & Fuel Card & Personal use + OTE £52,000 - £55,000 + Annual Leave + Pension + Social Events + more

 Are you a qualified electrician tired of spending hours sitting in London traffic?
Work with a long-established electrical contractor that delivers planned and reactive maintenance across commercial and hospitality sites throughout Essex and Kent, with only occasional travel into London.

 This is a stable, long-term position with a business that has been operating for over 15 years, offering consistent work, a supportive team environment and the autonomy to manage your own day without being micromanaged.
 The Role As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll carry out electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial and hospitality properties.

 Typical duties include:
  
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) 
Reactive electrical repairs 
Fault finding and diagnostics 
Testing and inspection works 
Small remedial and installation projects 
Completing service reports and job sheets 
Building strong relationships with clients on site  What you will need:   
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation 
AM2 Qualification 
Experience carrying out electrical maintenance within commercial environments 
Strong fault-finding skills 
Full UK Driving Licence 
Willingness to participate in a 1 in 13 call-out rota  Suitable for electricians based in:
 Basildon, Chelmsford, Brentwood, Grays, Dartford, Gravesend, Rochester, Maidstone, Medway, Bexley, Bromley and surrounding areas.
