Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join our facilities team, providing both proactive and reactive electrical maintenance services.
You will play a key role in maintaining operational performance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality service that supports the smooth running of client sites.
Job Description
This role requires a results-driven individual with strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safe working practices, and the flexibility to respond to planned and reactive maintenance demands.
Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you’ll help uphold the company’s reputation for excellence and reliability in building services maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power, BMS, and controls.
* Undertake routine inspections, fault finding, and electrical testing to maintain full operational efficiency.
* Install, repair, and upgrade electrical infrastructure in accordance with safety regulations.
* Ensure all work is performed to engineering standards and in line with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with quality assurance procedures.
* Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure efficient completion of PPM and reactive works.
* Respond promptly to emergency callouts and breakdowns when required.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold excellent customer service standards.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a building services or engineering environment.
* City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3/4 (or ONC) in an electrical discipline.
* 18th Edition qualification.
* Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality and safety in all tasks.
* Willing to travel locally as required.
* Full UK Driving Licence required.
