Maintenance Electrician
Location: Aberdeen
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Holidays: 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
Contract: Working on behalf of a major global engineering services contract
Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading facilities management provider, supporting a key site in Aberdeen. This is a client-facing role, requiring strong communication skills and a proactive approach to both planned and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out a 50/50 mix of electrical maintenance and general building services tasks
* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance (also 50/50 split)
* Deliver a high standard of work, ensuring compliance with all safety and operational procedures
* Occasionally provide cover at other local client sites as required
* Maintain strong on-site client relationships through professionalism and reliability
Requirements:
* SVQ/NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition
* Experience in building services or facilities maintenance
* Ability to work independently and as part of a mobile team
* Client-facing experience with excellent interpersonal skills
Additional Details:
* No call-out rota
* Tools and uniform provided
* On-site parking available
* Overtime rates: 1.5x (Mon–Sat), 2.0x (Sun)

* Structured training and progression available for the right candidate
* Interview process: 1st stage via MS Teams, 2nd stage face to face
