Job Title: Maintenance Electrician – Commercial Properties
Location: Newcastle
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
On-Call: 1-in-4 Rota
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team, working across a portfolio of commercial properties in Newcastle and throughout the North East. This is a mobile role focused on delivering high-quality electrical maintenance and ensuring compliance across multiple sites. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive works and will be part of a 1-in-4 on-call rota for emergency callouts.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs on commercial sites
*
Identify and resolve faults to minimise downtime and disruption
*
Complete inspection and testing of electrical systems and equipment
*
Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and relevant health and safety legislation
*
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
*
Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts
*
Complete adhoc FM tasks
*
Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in every 4)
Requirements:
*
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) – essential
*
Proven experience in commercial property maintenance
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Good understanding of health and safety practices
