Maintenance Electrician (Multiskilled)
Location: EH1 – City Centre
Hours: Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:30
Salary: £42,500 + funded healthcare
Call-Out Rota: Pool Vehicle Provided | £4,000–£5,000 Uplift
The Role:
We're looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established multiskilled
multiskilled team on a prestigious, heritage-focused FM contract. The role covers maintenance, installations, and reactive work across multiple buildings in the Edinburgh area.
What You'll Be Doing:
* PPMs and reactive works (incl. AHUs, FCUs, heating plant, lighting, BMS)
* Installation projects – humidity & lighting control, BMS upgrades
* Out-of-hours PPMs on a scheduled call-out rota
* Working closely with an experienced site team and client
What You’ll Need:
* 18th Edition (required)
* C&G 2391 (preferred)
* FM/building services experience
* Strong communication and client-facing skills
* Able to pass a background check
What’s On Offer:
* £42.5k base + funded healthcare
* 34 days holiday (you book Bank Holidays)
* 1-in-6 call-out rota – £4k–£5k uplift + 4hr minimum call-out pay
* When on call you will work Saturday and Sunday, but be paid at your enhanced rate
* Overtime: 1.5x (Mon–Fri), 2x (Sat PM/Sun)
* No on-site parking – public transport access
