Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Reading
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities maintenance client who is seeking a skilled Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary and a stable Monday to Friday working pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of static electrical systems across multiple sites
Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure compliance with current safety standards
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure all work meets company and legislative requirements
Collaborate with other maintenance and facilities teams to support smooth operationsEssential Qualifications and Experience:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
Proven experience working in static electrical maintenance environments
Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and compliance requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and committed to a Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm scheduleWhat’s on offer:
