Maintenance Electrician
Location: Peterborough
Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (potential flexibility for the right candidate)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 (Flexible)
Van + Fuel Card Provided (Private use permitted)
Tools & Uniform Provided
The Opportunity:
A leading engineering services provider is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join its growing team. This role supports multiple secure and high-priority sites, delivering a mix of planned and reactive electrical maintenance. With an emphasis on reliability, safety, and professionalism, this position suits someone confident in a client-facing environment who takes pride in delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works across allocated sites
* Conduct electrical fault finding, testing, repair, and installation tasks
* Support minor general maintenance activities where required
* Collaborate with on-site personnel to ensure smooth delivery of services
* Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (details provided at interview)
Requirements:
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (Essential)
* Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
* Previous experience in commercial or industrial maintenance
* Ability to work independently and maintain professional standards
* Good communication and time management skills
