Job Description
Maintenance Electrician
Location: North Derbyshire
Shift: Days Monday to Friday 08:00am – 16:30pm
Salary: £33,500

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring equipment runs reliably and efficiently. With a focus on CNC machine maintenance, you’ll take ownership of keeping machinery in top condition while supporting continuous improvement projects through the business.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain and service equipment to ensure consistent high-quality production.
* Carry out fault finding, repairs, and component replacement with a focus on root cause analysis.
* Contribute to business improvement initiatives and engineering projects.
* Follow and develop TPM/PPM schedules for all equipment.
* Ensure compliance with company safety standards, environmental rules, and quality procedures.
Requirements:
* Completed apprenticeship in Maintenance/Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 2 or above).
* Proven ability to maintain CNC machinery.
* Electrically biased with knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
* Experience with planned preventive maintenance systems.
* Strong organisational skills
* Solid understanding of health & safety standards.
