Maintenance Electrician
Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am – 16:00pm or 8:00am – 17:00pm
Salary: £33,072 pa
Location: Swadlincote
Are you a maintenance electrician looking for your next permanent opportunity? As a Maintenance Electrician, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the production lines and site equipment are reliable, efficient, and safe.
You’ll be involved in:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
* Responding to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime
* Overhauling and repairing plant machinery including PLCs
* Installing and commissioning new machinery and electrical systems
* Conducting fault finding and problem-solving to ensure the most effective solutions
Responsibilities:
* A recognised engineering/electrical qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Previous experience in maintenance within a food production or manufacturing environment
* Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams
* Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to thrive under pressure
