Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with a key player in the UK's Biogas sector to recruit a Maintenance Engineer for their new build site near Northampton. The company are already making huge strides in their mission to be the number one provider of biogas here in the UK market and we're looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join them towards the end of the build and grow with the asset. The Maintenance Engineer role comes with a salary dependant of your level and will be discussed upon application but will be highly competitive. Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Plant Manager you will: Carrying out maintenance of the plant on the likes of motors, gearboxes, pumps and associated pipework Managing any maintenance contractors coming to site, assisting with productions of RAMS Working to and updating pre planned maintenance (PPM) schedules Logging all jobs and liaising with the Plant Manager to ensure all spare parts are available or are on order Completing site safety checks and reporting any faults of breakdowns Daily fault-finding and diagnostics Assessing the plant with a continuous improvement mindset to suggest improvements Learning about and assisting with the running on the biogas plant Attending call outs as and when required Occasional attendance on other sites in the same region Other duties as required Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: A higher education in engineering, ie HNC/HND, Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or higher UK driving licence Experience in anaerobic digestion, energy from waste or a similar environment Personal skills The Maintenance Engineer role would suit someone who is: Hard-working, who is highly detail orientated and solutions-focussed Diligent and who has high attention to detail Wanting to learn how to operate the assets too Salary and benefits of the Maintenance Engineer role Highly competitive salary Overtime potential to significantly increase earnings Company pension and holiday allowance Internal progression as the business grows Chance to join a winning team and drive the business forwardAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
