Job Description
Maxwell Consultancy are working with a global market leader in their search for a Maintenance Engineer/Technician. Working in their state of the art manufacturing workshop in Glasgow. This is a permanent position working Monday to Thursday (Fridays off).
The business is going from strength to strength in recent times and has the latest CNC machinery in their workshop.
What's required?
* Experience in heavy engineering/manufacturing environment
* Mechanical bias with electrical capabilities
* Service and repair manual CNC machinery, carrying out diagnostics and repairs
* Maintenance of site infrastructure, plant and equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Assist in developing maintenance procedures and programs.
* Ensure that health, safety and environmental guidelines are followed.
* Understand drawings and O&M manuals, assisting in identifying and sourcing components.
* Provide on-going support and training to peers and apprentices where required.
* Participate in continuous improvement and project activities when required.
* IPAF or equivalent certification is desirable.
* Forklift truck counterbalance license.
* Experience in lifting and slinging is desirable.
