Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

We’re looking for a hands-on Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Great Yarmouth. This is a varied and practical role, working across equipment and site facilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving electrical systems across the site, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key duties include:
Electrical installations, upgrades and modifications
Planned and reactive maintenance on equipment
Fault-finding on motors, drives, pumps and control systems
Daily ride inspections and safety checks
Assisting with ride assembly and dismantling
Maintaining electrical equipment and site facilities
Ensuring all work complies with health & safety standards
Occasional work at other company-operated locations
About You
We’re looking for someone reliable, practical and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
You will ideally have:
Minimum 3 years’ electrical maintenance experience
18th Edition (desirable)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Experience with motors, drives, pumps and PLC fault-finding
Electrical testing experience (including PAT testing)
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (advantageous)
Comfortable working at height (advantageous)
Working Hours
Peak season: Includes weekends and some evening shifts
Winter period: Monday to Friday day shifts
