Maintenance Engineer - Field Based
Salary: £40,000-£42,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Company Van + Training & Career Progression
Location: Portsmouth (Commutable from: Southampton, Fareham, Havant, Chichester, Gosport)
Are you an experienced electrical engineer with a background in industrial controls and maintenance, looking for a stable role with technical variety and clear career development?

You'll join a mobile team carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and control panel work across industrial sites mainly in the South of England with some travel UK Wide. Occasional overnight stays are expected, with all costs covered and further technical training offered.

The Role:
Field-based electrical maintenance and controls work across industrial sites, covering breakdowns, installs, and upgrades.

£40-£42k salary + door-to-door pay, company van, and all travel/accommodation covered when staying away.
The Candidate:
Strong industrial background - electrical apprenticeship, 18th Edition, and hands-on experience with control systems, fault finding, and maintenance.
Flexible and mobile - able to travel across the South and stay overnight on occasion.
Reliable and proactive - confident working independently or as part of a team, with a problem-solving mindset.
