Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Automation)
Salary: €60,000
Schedule: 3 nights of 12-hour shifts + 4 days off (nightshift)
Location: Esbjerg, Denmark
Type: Full time

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be a key player in the engineering team, upholding high standards and pushing for excellence. You’ll collaborate with a skilled, multi-disciplinary team that’s all about problem-solving, continuous improvement, and delivering results. This role offers hands-on experience with world-class automation and electrical systems, plus the chance to grow into a leadership position.
Core Duties
* Report to the Maintenance Supervisor and collaborate with multi-skilled technicians, apprentices, and contractors.
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and automation systems throughout the production facility
* Conduct preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime
* Identify and implement improvements in electrical and automation systems
* Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations
* Adhere to health & safety regulations and maintain strict food safety standards
Your Profile
* Certified Industrial Electrician, Automation Technician, or equivalent technical background
* Hands-on experience with PLCs, automation tech, and electrical installations
* Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
* A team player who’s proactive and solution-oriented
* Willingness to learn and grow into a leadership role over time
