Maintenance Engineer Location: Near Wolverhampton Salary: £49,000 - £52,000 + Industry Leading Benefits + Regular Overtime Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00) About the Company Our client is a prominent and well-respected manufacturer within their sector, currently expanding their engineering division at their modern site near Wolverhampton. What's in it for You Basic Salary: £49,000 - £52,000 Training & Development: Our client aims to operate to world-class standards, and the successful candidate will be required to commit to a focused training and development programme, including PLC training. Overtime Opportunities: Paid at x1.5 and x2 premiums Career Progression: Opportunities to enhance your skill set and progress your career within a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment Roles and Responsibilities As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be: Responsible for plant-wide proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure optimum factory performance. Carrying out PPM schedules and reactive maintenance activities as required. Working across all mechanical and electrical elements, including: Hydraulics Pneumatics Conveyors Motors Invertors Safety Circuits Performing fault finding on PLCs Extensive training will be provided on Siemens PLC S7 TIA Portal systems, along with further upskilling opportunities to support your technical development. To Be Successful To be considered for this role, you must hold one of the following qualifications: City & Guilds Level 3 and BTEC Level 3 or higher with NVQ Level 3, OR Apprenticeship trained to Level 3 in Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines. Additionally, you will need: Strong planned and reactive maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment A proven track record working as a Maintenance Engineer In Return You will be offered a truly varied role within a dynamic and fast-paced business, providing genuine opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career
