Role - Maintenance Engineer
Salary - £49,000+ Overtime
Location - Barnsley
Shifts - Panama days and nights
Other - £1500 bonus + guaranteed overtime + 25 shift holidays + training including conversion to become multi skilled + PLC courses available!

I am currently recruiting for an experienced maintenance engineer for a globally well renowned automated firm operating in over 26 facilities UK wide.

The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer your day to day responsibilities will include:
Fault finding mechanically on Conveyors, monorail systems and pneumatic equipment the majority cases you will replace components like for like.
Reducing equipment breakdown duration and reduce the frequency of breakdowns
Fault finding electrically with a multi meter and reading electrical schematics. They will also be responsible for the sites preventative maintenance and responding to ad hoc requests for repairs whilst on shift.

I am looking for a Maintenance Engineer that:
I am looking for a competent Engineer for my client that has very good communication skills.
You will need a recognised engineering qualification
You will be joining a team with colleagues from various engineering backgrounds including, food, fmcg and many more
I am looking for someone that will be able to perform in potential high pressure scenarios and work with their team in intense environments.
Experience of working within a fast paced automated environment his highly desriable
