Hours: Days - Monday to Friday
About the Role for the maintenance engineer
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing site based in Lincoln.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the continuous operation and reliability of a range of large-scale industrial equipment. The site operates with a strong focus on Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) - currently running at around 90% planned maintenance - providing a structured and proactive working environment.
This is a hands-on, primarily outdoor role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with heavy industrial machinery and varied maintenance challenges.
Key Responsibilities for the maintenance engineer
Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of site equipment.
Ensure all electrical components, machinery, and safety systems are maintained to a high standard and compliant with regulations.
Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings and schematics to fault-find and repair effectively.
Install, operate, and maintain electrical and pipework systems.
Support project work, site improvements, and equipment upgrades.
Continuously review and improve Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) processes.
What We're Looking For in the maintenance engineer
Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and outdoors in all conditions.
A proactive, safety-conscious approach and a drive for continuous improvement.
