Job Description

A well-established company in the Pickering area are looking for a good Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the business. The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be working on a Monday to Thursday days role. 

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

Perform Statutory and Preventative Maintenance on Plant and Equipment.
Responding to plant breakdowns and diagnose faults on plant and equipment.
Carry out Plant Repairs, rebuilds as required.
Manufacture replacement parts as / if required - lathe / milling experience preferred.
Assist in plant and equipment installation in line with design specifications.
Use portable plant and power tools correctly.
Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
Follow company safety systems and work protocol.

The salary is advertised as £36k - £40k, this is made up of up to £17.55 an hour with additional paid overtime. Working 40 hours a week.
