Maintenance engineer – £50,000 – Leicestershire - 4 on 4 off days & nights
Package: 10% pension, 23-day holiday, Overtime – 1.5 and double on Sunday, (plus 2 bonus 56K OTE)

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities Include:
* Maintaining hoppers, mixers, conveyors, silos, large hydraulics systems, packaging machinery, pneumatics, and other large-scale processing equipment.
* Receiving jobs via the tablet-based maintenance system and completing work in line with PPM schedules.
* Carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and component replacements on heavy industrial plant.
* Supporting the installation of new machinery, equipment, and plant upgrades.
* Applying continuous improvement techniques to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Performing root cause analysis to prevent recurring breakdowns and improve reliability.
About You:
* A flexible, positive attitude with a genuine desire to improve, learn, and develop.
* Time-served apprenticeship in Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering Manufacture (Mechanical), Mechatronics (Mechanical) or similar.
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Apprenticeship (or equivalent).
* Maintenance engineer experiences working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including fault diagnosis.
* Open to ex-forces candidates with relevant mechanical experience.
* Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication.
